Wiring

Despite the indoor and outdoor unit having similar looking terminal blocks, Mains Power
is to the Indoor unit with a 3 core plus Earth Interconnecting cable.

Interconnecting is as follows

1 - Live
N - Neutral
2 - Comms

Note that this only applies to models 09 and 12. Models 18 and 24 have a different wiring
configuration.

Operating Conditions

Neo Forte size 09 and 12 models will cool in ambient over 10°C only. This does not apply
to other Samsung RAC models which have a wider operating envelope.

Optional Controllers

Samsung RAC units do not have Hard Wired controllers or Central Controllers as an
option.

Refrigerant Charge

All models are pre-charged to 5 metres with a maximum run of 15 metres. Minimum pipe
run is 3 metres. Additional charge per metre is 15 metres.

Installations with short pipe runs

The minimum pipe run on these systems is 3 metres. For “back to back” installations it is
recommended that the copper tubing is coiled once to reduce noise and vibration in
addition to meeting the minimum piping requirement.

Drain

All models come with a drain elbow included. This is included in the Outdoor Unit
packaging.
