1: Name of the union:

The name of the union will be Law Unity.

2: Monogram:

3: Extent and commencement:

It covers the entire law college and shall take effect on February 4.

4: Objectives: -

1. Law Unity will function as a peaceful and non-violent union.

2. To play a leading role in resolving the basic problems faced by the students during their
studies and restoring their rights
3. Introduce law students as strong partners in society.
4. Conducting a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities for students as well as
promoting a healthy learning environment in the college.
5. Strive to meet the fees and other educational needs of financially weak students.
6. To bring the law college students out of national, political, linguistic, religious, regional,
sexual, and all kinds of prejudices and bring them together on one platform.
7. To make every effort to facilitate accommodation, transportation for students, as well as to
pave the way for access to various scholarships at the national and international levels.
8. To make every effort to improve the quality of education in the college and to restore the
basic democratic and constitutional rights of the students.
9. Negotiations are to be given top priority to resolve any issues.
10. To Maintain student discipline so that law students emerge as professional legal experts in
society.

5: President's tenure: -

1. The term of office of the President will be one year, it can be less than one year but not
more.
2. If the president is elected from the 10th semester, he will dissolve the cabinet ten days
before the end of the session and form a committee for fair and transparent elections.

6: Eligibility of President:

1. Both men and women are eligible for the presidency.

2. Students from 6th Semester to 10th Semester including 3-year students are eligible for the
presidential election.
3. The Presidential Candidate shall not hold office in any registered or unregistered society,
federation, organization.
4. He shall Respect and abide by the Constitution of Law Unity.
5. The incumbent president is eligible for re-election to that office but cannot hold that office
for two consecutive terms.
7: Election Policy:

1. The president will form an impartial committee before the end of his term, which will
preside over the elections and set out the rules for it.
2. The Election Committee will conduct elections within ten days.
3. None of the committee members will run in the current election as a presidential candidate.
4. None of the committee members will be part of the current presidential cabinet or the
incoming presidential cabinet.
5. During the election, the committee will adopt strict rules and regulations against candidates
chanting slogans against each other, personal attacks, disruption in students' education, or
immoral behavior.
6. Also, if any candidate is found violating the rules and regulations of the committee, his / her
nomination can be canceled.

8: Cabinet and its Selection:

1. The president shall have the discretion to form a cabinet.

2. The Cabinet will consist of the following members including the President.

4. Press Secretary
5. Event organizer
6. Study circle moderator
7. Blood Secretary
8. Secretary for university's administration affairs
9. Legal adviser and pleader
10. Secretary for hostel affairs
11. Secretary for societies
12. Secretary for female affairs
13. Sports Secretary

9.Duties and powers of the cabinet members:

1.President:

1. The President will be the central leader of Unity.

2. All cabinet members shall work under the supervision of the president.
3.  The President may convene a meeting of the Cabinet at any time any place as he
thinks fit.

2.Vice President:

1. The Vice President will be subordinate to the President and will not be authorized to issue any
ruling arbitrarily without the President's assent.
2. In the absence of the President, the Vice President shall exercise the central powers.
3. Shall Supervise and preserve all records of the organization and report of the proceedings of the
meeting.
4. Shall Inaugurate the meeting/conference with the permission of the President.

3.Finance secretary:

1. The Finance Secretary shall keep a necessary account of all the expenses of Unity.
2. He shall collect Rs 100 per student every month and shall also raise funds for the Welcome Party
and Farewell Party as per the instructions prescribed by the president.
3. He shall keep all the collected funds in written form and shall present the audit of these funds to
the President and Cabinet every month.
