Membership Overview
Through a Communicating for America Association membership, members have access to:
• Health information – a direct link to the latest health information and resources that can be used in day‐to‐day
life. Our publications keep members informed about the organization’s efforts, healthy lifestyle tips and health
care legislation.
• Communication with elected officials – CA helps its members communicate directly with elected officials and
keeps them informed about what those in Washington, D.C., are doing about health care costs and other issues.
• CA advocacy – CA focuses and advocates for issues facing their members and their families. Some of these issues
include promoting agriculture and consumer policy, advocating the interests of small business, creating
education opportunities, supporting community development, bettering the lives of our youth and protecting
business and farmland ownership.
• Access to money‐saving benefits – as an Association, CA can negotiate discounts on services and programs which
best meet the needs of its members. It also works with and endorses only select benefit providers which meet its
quality, financial and service standards.

Membership Overview
• An Association Care membership provides access to a variety of non‐insurance
benefits and valuable health programs through Careington
─ All options provide access to 24/7 virtual care with health care professionals via DialCare’s
telemedicine solutions
─ Physician Access provides unlimited virtual visits with physicians at no cost
─ Members can upgrade to select virtual behavioral health assistance and dental care
• Members also have access to a free prescription drug discount program through
United Networks of America (UNOA), which provides discounts on generic and brand
name prescription drugs at thousands of pharmacies. It is available at no cost
whether a person joins the program or not and is not a benefit of membership.
This membership is managed by Communicating for America, Inc. (CA). Some of the membership benefits are managed by Careington International
Corporation. The Loomis Company handles cancellations and eligibility changes along with other administrative duties. IHC Specialty Benefits, Inc.
and its producers market this program.

Telemedicine: Physician Access
Free, unlimited, 24/7 phone and video access to state‐licensed, fully credentialed doctors for
non‐emergency illnesses and general medical care.
Telemedicine: Mental Wellness
Provides safe, secure and private means of seeking mental health assistance from licensed
mental health professionals via virtual or telephonic counseling sessions.
A fee of $95.00 applies to each consultation.
Telemedicine: TeleDentistry
DialCare Teledentistry offers convenient consultations with licensed dentists via phone or
video chat for advice and diagnoses on a wide variety of oral health ailments, urgent care,
dental‐related questions and second opinions (varies by state).
A fee of $60 applies to each consultation.

“Complete your DialCare registration”

Medical Bill Negotiation and
Patient Advocacy Services
Medical Bill Negotiation Service
Access to HealthAdvocate’s medical bill negotiation service that can help lower out‐
of‐pocket costs on medical bills not covered by insurance. This service is applicable
to bills over $400 from previous procedures to be negotiated as long as the bill is
within a one‐year time frame.
Patient Advocacy
Unlimited assistance in navigating healthcare from finding providers to answering
questions about test results.

Eligibility for Association Care Memberships
• Association Care memberships are available to primary applicants and their spouse
age 18 – 65 and dependent children to age 26
• Applicants must be a United States resident
• Child‐only plans are not available
Membership in Communicating for America is not limited to an Association Care Membership, age or
