COVID-19 Screening Procedures and Preventive Measures

1. All employees, students, and visitors must wash his/her hands using soap and water at the
designated washing area or may use alcohol-based hand sanitizer before entering the
school premises, and:

● Before entering their workstation

● Before and after handling food or eating
● After using the toilet/bathroom
● Before putting on and after taking off their face mask
● After touching frequently touched surfaces and objects such as doorknobs, electrical
switches, etc
● Before and after touching their face

2. All employees, students, and visitors must step on the foot bath provided at the entrance.

3. The employees, students, and visitors must submit for the mandatory temperature check.

● Temperatures greater than 37.5 degrees Celsius will not be allowed to enter the
school campus and advised to go to Barangay Health Center or consult a Physician
of choice for consultation and further management.

4. The employees, students, and visitors who show any respiratory problems such as cough,
colds, and difficulty of breathing are not allowed to enter the campus.

5. The District Nurse or School Clinic Teacher will advise employees, students, and visitors
who show any respiratory problem to proceed to Barangay Health Center or consult a
Physician of choice for consultation and further management.

6. The employees, students, and visitors must fill out a Health Monitoring Checklist before
entering the school campus.

7. All employees, students, and visitors are required to wear facemasks at all times.

● Make sure your mask covers your nose and mouth.

● Avoid touching the mask while using it. If you need to touch your mask or your
face, make sure to sanitize your hands first.
● Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp, soiled, or damaged, and
do not reuse single-use masks.
● Cloth face masks must be worn only for one day at a time and must be properly
washed before using again.

● Remove the mask from behind using the string and properly dispose of single-use
masks immediately in a closed bin.

● Wash your hands before putting on and after taking off your mask.

8. All employees, students, and visitors must follow at least 1-meter of social distancing and
avoid unnecessary gatherings.

● Maintain at least one (1) meter distance with others.

● Avoid physical contact with other employees, like handshakes and hugging.
● Avoid unnecessary gathering and office hopping

9. All personnel must eat at their designated working table.

 Avoid eating together at one table
 Avoid sharing of food and utensils
 Avoid talking while facemask is removed
 Immediately wear mask after eating
 Disposed properly all left overs and waste products

10. All office staff is required to clean and disinfect their respective workplace every day.
● Employees are encouraged to conduct surface disinfection in their workstations
before the start of the shift, intermittently during the shift, and at the end of the shift.

11. All non-DepEd personnel vehicle is not allowed to enter inside the school campus.
