Music In You

What you learned:

During this assignment, I learned how to tie my creativity to music. It reminded me of how
important making connections when learning is. I learned how very different subjects can come
together and help have a better understanding. Alongside that, I used the MI test to find my
strengths. Through this test, I learned that my top three intelligences are Body (4), Spatial (3.86),
and Musical (3.57). In my other intelligence, I scored: 3.43 in Math, 3.29 in Nature, 3 in Social,
2.86 in Self, and 1.57 in Language. From these results, I can reevaluate some of my weaknesses
and how I can better support them and strengthen them.

ISTE National Educational Technology Standards for STUDENTS (NETS) S Addressed:

1.4 Innovative Designer
Students use a variety of technologies within a design process to identify and solve problems by
creating new, useful, or imaginative solutions.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future:

This project can serve as a good assignment in any class. If we see students struggling to
remember a certain formula we can as a class or individually have students come up with a song
to help them remember. This makes class and learning a lot more fun and allows them to actively
participate in class as well. Having students in math work on memorization in class will result in
better outcomes such as student performance.
