This was an easy project for me. I had made a Google form before, although it was not
for an election. I found it easy to insert photos of the celebrities I chose. The hardest
part was deciding who to make the candidates, so I went for some variety, but mainly
musicians. I was able to make an easy to follow form that most students would be able
to work. I also got to experiment with moving around questions and pictures to make
the flow of the form the easiest to follow. For example, I chose to have the pictures
come before the voting options to provide a jog of memory if someone does not recall
one of the name options. I am sure I could make forms in the future.

analyze them, and represent data in various ways to facilitate problem-solving and
decision-making.

I could see myself doing this for a school election in the future. Or, I could also host an
election on a smaller scale such as for a club or perhaps class jobs. Also, this project
could lend itself to gaining parent input about the class. Additionally, I might use a form
to have students report how they are doing and to provide me feedback to get better at
teaching. With this, I could compare results from previous years to see my strengths
and how far my improvement has come along. In the era of COVID-19, a form could be
used to report COVID symptoms. I could also use Google forms to make a quiz. I think
this would be less secure and more prone to cheating than other platforms, but if the
quiz utilized long or short answers, it could work. This could be used for any subject
area, but less so for math, unless I was measuring a student’s knowledge of
vocabulary words and theories/ideas.
