1. Teacher´s purposes:
● Create a friendly learning atmosphere.
● Arouse students’ interest and curiosity in the topic.
● Foster students’ participation using different strategies.
● Help and guide the students in order to understand the topic, comprehend the
story, identify vocabulary, remember the routines and complete the tasks.
2. Objectives:
● Predict what will happen in the story.
● Understand the story and the message it conveys.
● Identify the lexical items that belong to the students’ previous knowledge.
● Retell the story together.
3. Content:
Recycled: The time (9 o´clock, 6 o´clock, half past seven, 8 o´clock), routines (get

what they think the story is about.

T- Ok, so let’s start with the story. This is the cover of the book. What do you think it
is about? (while we show them the next picture)
Time: 35 minutes
Aim:
We will retell the story with the help of the SS. We will ask them specific questions in
order to guide the retelling, we will focus on the words/phrases highlighted in the text
(bold and underlined). Participation will be controlled by the TT.
In order to retell the story we will show SS the previous images we use when we tell
the story for the first time, and we will prepare some others in case they don’t
remember what we ask them (eg: a picture with some people having lunch).
T- Now we are going to tell the story again. This time, you will have to tell the story
with us, ok?
STS- Yes!
Follow - up
Aim: They will have to read the sentences, they will also listen to the correct
pronunciation (because we will read the sentences to them) and will try to connect
with the right picture.
Time: 10 minutes

At the end of the lesson, we will tell them that we are going to send the link of the game in
order they can play how many times they want to. Moreover, we will ask them if they liked
this different lesson.
