1. Teachers can provide the questions to students in advance so students have time to think
about it after classes. This is recommended when you are teaching low level students.
2. Students can make groups and practice with their peers in classes so they can learn about
their weaknesses and strengths when interacting with others.
3. Teacher can reduce teacher talking time since students are the ones doing the interaction.
Teacher can make contributions to the conversation but they don’t have an active role in
them.
4. When students are divided in groups of 5, a teacher can’t be participating in five different
conversations so learners have to become more independent.
5. ESL Conversation questions helps students realize what their level is, if they participate in
an intermediate level class, they would learn that requisites are set for a reason.
