Mr. Ahsok Kr. Poley, Ld. Advocate appearing for the appellant prays for
an   adjournment   submitting,   inter   alia,   that   the   Ld.   Conducting   Senior
Advocate has recently undergone an opthalmological surgery and he prays for
an   adjournment.     Mr.   Poley   prays   for   fixing   the   date   in   the   last   week   of
August, and on that day, at any cost, he will complete his hearing.  
Mrs.   Pranati   Mondal,   Ld.   Advocate   appearing   for   the   OP/Board   of
Trustees   of   Port   Trust   raises   objection   submitting,   inter   alia,   that   the
appellant   is   prolonging   the   case   unnecessarily   under   the   cover   of
adjournment on different grounds.
Heard both sides.  Perused the petition and the case record. 
Apparently   this   case   is   pending   since   2012   and   the   appellant   has
played   a   major   role   for   protracting   the   life   of   this   appeal,   I   am   of   the
considered view that this privilege of prolonging the case should not be given
to the  appellant  any  further.   However,  the prayer   is  considered  as a  last
opportunity, to the appellant.
Accordingly, the case is adjourned.
The date is fixed on 30.08.2022 as prayed by Mr. Poley.
The appellant must come ready for hearing of appeal on the date fixed.
To date for hearing of appeal, i.d., necessary order will be passed.
