May 2022 Month-end Report

1.0) Assay Laboratory Improvements


These are the projects finished by our team. We accomplished the following:

1. Installation of ducting, blowers and Air-Acetylene pipes for the two AAS machines.
2. Hauling of two AAS machines.
3. Construction of fume testing platform at the acid scrubber
4. Installation of fire bricks in the acid fume hood
5. Installation of exhaust pipes from acid fume hood to acid scrubber

Also, we are still waiting for the fabrication to finish the modification of blower for the acid
scrubber.

2.0) Slime Thickener drive modification and reconditioning


With the complete installation of the beam support to correct the sag. Our team also finished the
following:

1. Reconditioning of the slime thickener drive


2. Fabricated manual lift
3. Modified the rake blades for the reason to correspond to the rotation of the rakes new
rotary gear drive
4. Installation of machined sprocket having 21 teeth for the gear motor and 37 teeth for the
new rotary gear to achieve .5 RPM
5. Installation of base frame for the motor and rotary gear drive

3.0) Adsorption Tank 3 repairs
Due to the leaks found during the hydro test, Mill Maintenance team asked help to eliminate the
leaks by doing following:

1. Weld bent 8” by 3/8 “MS steel plate at the bottom of the tank
2. Weld 10 mm MS plate flooring
3. Skinned corroded manhole
4. Applied brushable ceramic coating on the welded joints
