EVALUATION LANGUAGE - CASL

An assessment of receptive and expressive language skills was conducted. The following is a summary
of the test results.

The Comprehensive Assessment of Spoken Language, Form 2 (CASL) is a norm-referenced oral


language assessment battery of tests that provides information about oral language skills that children
and adolescents need to become literate as well as to succeed in school and in the work environment.

performance may indicate difficulty retrieving precise vocabulary to describe events.

This task measures knowledge, retrieval, and oral expression of idioms. Incomplete idiom knowledge will
cause individuals to substitute similar but incorrect words in forming an idiom, thereby causing
communication problems with others.

rules

oral language skills using a battery of tests that assess the oral language skills that children and
adolescents need to become literate as well as to succeed in school and in the work environment.
