[Software Description]
This software will update the LS200 series LinkStations’ firmware to
version 1.75. If your unit’s firmware is already version 1.75 or later,
you don’t need this update.
[Notes]
• After updating to this firmware version, EXT3-formatted USB drives will
be rendered read-only.
• Please consult technical support or your local customer service
representative if the firmware update causes unexpected issues.
• Do not turn off the LinkStation until the firmware update is completed
and the “finished” message is displayed.
• Newer LinkStation firmwares may cause the “unknown error” message to
appear in NAS Navigator2. If this message appears, update NAS Navigator2
to the latest version.
• When you open Settings after updating to this firmware version, the
page may still be displaying “Reading”. In such a case, clear the web
browser cache and try again.

an external hard drive with many files (one million or more files) was
formatted.
• Fixed a bug where a backup job fails if an exFAT-formatted external
drive was configured as a backup destination.
• Fixed a bug where the Direct Copy target folder could not be
configured.
