Axis is going to be the best bang for your buck.

Axis is good quality, but Hikvision is a much better value. I've been
using Hikvision for many years, have done much protocol analysis and reverse-
engineering of Hikvision hardware, software, and firmware, and I have no concerns
in terms of state-sponsored espionage.

If money isn't an issue for you, go for Avigilon. It's the world's best
in surveillance technology for consumers.

To answer your question, I’ve had good experiences with Hanwha
(formerly Samsung). Axis, Bosch all would be comparable. Open eye may be one to try
also.

For recording , look at Hanwha wave. (NX Witness rebranded)

Agree, all those are good quality products and Wave is great value for
the price

Reolink, I have two cameras with the attached solar. Never charge them.
They log to my Mac and I can remote in with Motion detection alerts

I just set up my Reolink setup this past weekend.

The camera's themselves are good quality. But the mounting system is
among the more annoying I've ever dealt with. Still, very worth the price.

Tasmota on all the things
Tried several myself and those 5 MP Reolinks in bullet or dome style
are just an awesome deal. I can't find much to say negative about them and wow the
price is amazing. Been buying several of them and shared my experience with them.

3) hikvision is a solid choice. As are Amcrest, Axis, Dahua, Reolink,

Ubiquity, etc.

Hands down, Lorex. They used to be part of FLIR which is a professional
IR imaging company. They can be a little pricey but they’re worth every penny.
Their tech support is awesome; very helpful and patient.

Yes it does. My sister has said that she has saw footage of Lorex cams
and it was the cleanser video/image she has seen. I will research more. Thank you
for your post. Appreciate it.
