INCIDENT REPORT

June 22, 2022

The electrical fire incident occurred on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 around 6:00pm at the barracks of
Mr. Willy (foreman) & company when suddenly fire broke out. Upon checking, electrician of JCE found
out that too many devices/appliances are connected due to this electric overload occurs and the wires
heat up and melts. Recommendations are made about what measures are to be taken to prevent such
type of accidents. Exceeding the rated load for the circuit wiring causes the circuit wiring to overheat
and I advise to change the existing wire 0.75mm to 3.5mm to accommodate all the necessary power
needed of our workers and to prevent this happening in the future. I also recommend to avoid
unnecessary plugging of equipment at once.
