    Introduction: good morning/afternoon teacher roquessa good morning/afternoon


    classmate’s peace and all good!

    Today we are going to perform a role-play about the changes that happen during
    puberty

    ED: Before puberty we would usually stay beside our parents and always accompany
    them kind of like this scene

    Chealsea /mother: kids! Your dad is home go and say hi

    Children: ok mom! (Run to father)

    Ken/father :( sigh) looks like you guys are home early, how was your day?

    Cybrene/ kid #1: it was great! Dad! Since your home early can we go to the park later?
    (Smile innocently)

    Aryana/kid # 2: yeah! Can we go? Can we? (Smile)

    Ken/father: okay we can go to the park after we eat lunch (pat kid # 1‘s head)

    ED: during some time in puberty our social circle widens and we tend to spend more
    time with friends than family like this scene

    Chealsea/mother: dear, come spend some time with your mom I’ll share to you my
    childhood adventures; it will be fun (say in a feeling young kinda voice)

    Me/ teenager #1: umm…. Sorry mom but maybe later I have to attend my friends
    beginning of the school year party she says all of our old classmates will be there so I
    totally cannot miss it or I’ll be the only one who didn’t come and my social life will
    drop so….. Chaio!

    Somewhat Later in the afternoon


    Cybrene/father: hey son why don’t you come spend time with your old pops here!
    (Trying to act hip kinda voice)

    Goodwill/teenager #2: sorry dad but I got soccer practice with my team and we’ve got
    a big game coming up so , as team captain, I have to work hard and train the others. I
    also have to do a group project with some other classmates so sorry I can’t hang with
    ya pops (trying to walk away) maybe next time? (Walk out backwards) bye!

    After the events

    Me/teenager #1: Mom! Dad! I’m home!

    Cybrene/father: ah! Come and eat with me and your mother!

    Me/ teenager # 1: oh! I already ate at the party…. Where’s my brother my friend said
    to give this to him and she also let me carry gifts for you guys

    Cybrene and Chealsea/ parents: tell her thank you

    Me/teenager # 1: I’ll be up stairs if you need me

    Cybrene/father: (reach out your hand like you wanted to say something)

    After a few minutes

    Goodwill/teenager # 2: mom! Dad! I’m home!

    Chealsea/mother: your sister is upstairs her friends gave you a present after changing
    come down and eat with us.

    Goodwill/teenager #2: sorry but I already ate dinner

    ED: kids who are in puberty stage tend to spend more time with friends and expand
    their social circle than family this change is called SOCIAL CHANGES
