MANAGEMENT THEORIES

(My Learning Insights)

Management theories are a set of knowledge that advocate general rules

for how to manage an organization. Management theories address how supervisors
execute strategies to achieve organizational goals and how they motivate employees
to perform at their highest ability.

To be honest the topic was too broad but with the power point presentation
or Dr. Orlando Marasigan Jr., I can catch up things which is newbie to my sense of
sight. I agreed to Max Wilber’s theory on bureaucratic management that
“Bureaucracy was a better than traditional structures because here in the
Department of Education we should be treated as equal, and the division of labor is
clearly described for each employee. This time, we are bombarded of many
paperwork’s and an also extra activities beyond our control. So, it’s up to the school
manager on how to divide that certain task by giving the teachers their own
coordinator ship based on their expertise.

As a manager, in my friendly-home classroom, I impulse classroom

management to keep my students focused on learning while preventing disruption
from slowing the learning process. “Don’t wait for extraordinary opportunities, seize
common occasions and make them great.”-Crison Swett Marden-
