I. In your own group words, offer a definition of Christian worldview and show how a
worldview affects an Individual

, Christian worldview is the integrated system of beliefs derived from faith in Jesus Christ,
which Christians use to make sense of the world. A Christocentric mindset is oriented
towards the things of God. We can also say that is any ideology, reasoning, religious
philosophy, development, or religion that gives a general way to deal with grasping God, the
world, and man's relations to God and the world.

How would a worldview affect an individual? The reality is that everyone has a worldview. An
examined and thoughtful worldview, however, is more than a private personal viewpoint. A
comprehensive life system seeks to answer the basic question of life.

*. A worldview is a belief system of who we are, why we are here, and what our destiny is.
There are several worldviews and which have impact on an individual, they may be negative or
positive. This impact includes: Attitude -world view affect an individual in that, when the society
claims some behavior to be right then this creates a positive attitude. Worldview also impact
one’s belief, this apply to Christian world view and Islamic world view, whereby each believe
there is a messiah to save them. Worldview also impact one's culture. They shape and help
determine values. Values changes across cultures, since they have to do what is considered right
and important. They also affect individual self-esteem.

A Christian worldview is not just one’s personal faith expression, not just a theory. It is an all-
consuming way of life, applicable to all spheres of life. A Christian worldview becomes a
driving force in life, giving us a sense of Gods plan and purpose of this world. A Christian
worldview affects an individual life positively by shaping their lives. This means that we think
with the mind of Christ. The bible says that we should not only love God wholehearted with our
hearts and souls but also with our minds. Being wholeheartedly devoted to God means with
every aspect of our being. This kind of love for God results in taking every thought captive to
make it obedient to Christ. Due to this, our lives are shaped and we are able to see life from a
Christian vantage point.

*A personal worldview is comprised of the basic assumptions we have of the world. Our
worldviews provide structure to our thoughts and actions. They might give an answer to key
issues like the meaning of life, whether we perceive humans as good or evil or whether we
believe in a higher power or deity. In addition, a worldview must seek to answer the key
questions of life, whether the general implications or specific applications. It is to these
foundational questions and attending issues that we now turn our attention. We Believe in God,
Maker of Heaven and Earth: A Worldview Starting Point. A worldview must offer a way to live
that is consistent with reality by offering a comprehensive understanding of all areas of life and
thought, every aspect of creation. person’s worldview is affected by how he/she is raised, his/her
culture, his/her living situation. A person’s parents and upbringing play an important part in how
that person interacts with others and thinks. A world view is like wearing colored glasses. The
way we see things, or perceive things, is based on the color of the glasses we are wearing. Where
did we get these colored glasses? We obtain our “worldview glasses” from our parents, our
culture, our friends, the media, and our religious beliefs. Worldviews not only effects how we get
it and get a handle on our general surroundings yet additionally impact how we communicate our
thoughts on the planet. The star grouping of individual qualities, beliefs, suspicions, mentalities,
and thoughts that make up our perspective affects our objectives and wants, connections, and
ways of behaving. The more mindful we happen of our perspective and the worldviews of others,
the more real we can explore through life.
Your degree of confidence, your restraints, and, surprisingly, your mystery biases, all assume a
part in molding your perspective, and all can be followed back to some part of your experience
or childhood.
Our worldviews give a construction to our viewpoints and activities. They could offer a response
to central points of contention like the importance of life, whether we see humans as great or
wickedness or whether we put stock in a higher power or God.
