Dear Sir/Ma’am:
“Gender equality is more than a goal in itself. It is a precondition for meeting the
challenge of reducing poverty, promoting sustainable development and
building good governance. ”
- Kofi Annan
We, the Grade 10 - SCB students together with the Araling Panlipunan Area, are organizing a
National Youth Conference on May 6, 2022, Friday at 9:00 - 11:30 in the morning via USC -
SC Facebook Live Streaming through Zoom with the theme: “Gender Equality For A
Sustainable Tomorrow” as part of our #BreakTheBias Campaign. This conference aims to
give our fellow Grade 10 students the opportunity to showcase their advocacies and discuss
relevant issues in line with the topic of Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment. We aim to
engage with young leaders from all across the Philippines to raise awareness and exchange
ideas about this topic. Despite the pandemic, we want to encourage, educate, and lead a
movement in our own small manner as young leaders.
Furthermore, this is a prerequisite for the Grade 10 Level’s final performance task on gender
equality for the Third Quarter. In this regard, we would like to invite young leaders from your
organization or institution to attend our National Youth Conference. There will be no
Registration fee and each participant will receive a certificate as a token to commemorate of
their participation.
We would be honored to have you join us. We are looking forward to hearing back from you
regarding our invitation. If you have any concern or require further information, please contact
the Overall Head Committee at 21800131@usc.edu.ph.
Please accept our heartfelt gratitude in advance for your contribution! Your support is much
appreciated!
Respectfully yours,
