Indonesia is located between the Indian and

Pacific Oceans, off the coast of Southeast Asia,
and has 15 seas where people can go scuba
diving. It is the largest archipelagic country in
the world consisting of more than 17,000 islands
that span an area equivalent to one-eighth of the
earth's circumference and lies across the
equator. The country’s climate is almost entirely
tropical with sunshine and warm sea waters all
year round.

The country is located in a large part of the Coral

Triangle and is home to some of the world's best
diving spots. Approximately 51,000 square
kilometers of coral reefs cover Indonesia’s ocean
and seafloor, thus, making it the most extensive
coral reef system in the world. No other country
has more profound and spectacular biodiversity
of marine life than Indonesia. Moreover, at last,
2,000 reef fish species have been identified in
Indonesian waters.

Indonesia is full of wonderful hidden gems

The ever- present sunlight will always

reveal some surprises hidden away from
the usual tourist whirlwind: winding paths,
places where the wild and restless meet,
thick jungles, where the water is crystal
blue and you can see schools of fish
swimming, hunting, and migrating. These
types of regions are still unknown in tourist
circles, and now it is time to see them.

As you will see on this scuba diving places

checklist, Indonesia offers much more than
you might have ever imagined. We want to
