1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.

2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Place the transmission in neutral or park.

4. Install the wheel chocks.

5. Disconnect the cable from the battery's negative

terminal.

6. Drain the compressed air tanks.

7. Remove the screws.

8. Remove the panel.

9. Disconnect the connector.

10. Remove the pressure sensor.

DISASSEMBLY J-42189
TOOL

11. Install the pressure sensor.

12. Connect the connector.

13. Connect the battery cable to negative (ground) termi-

nal.

14. Start the engine.

15. Idle engine until the pneumatic system is at operational pressure.
Note
The pneumatic system is full when the compressor unloads.
16. Check for leaks.

17. Install the panel.

18. Install the screws.
19. Tighten the screws to torque.
Tightening torque
Screw M4
1.5 ±0.5 Nm
(13 ±4 lbf⋅in)

20. Delete the diagnostic trouble codes according to the

diagnostic tool (Premium Tech Tool) instructions.

21. Remove the wheel chocks.
