CAUTION

supervisor for training before you perform it.
▶ You must read and understand the precautions and guidelines in Service Information, Function
Group 3, "General Safety Practices, Elecrical and Electronics" before performing this procedure.

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface with the steering wheel in the straight ahead position.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Place the gear lever in neutral.

4. Install the wheel chocks.

5. Disconnect the cable from the battery's negative

terminal.

6. Park the vehicle on a level surface with the steering wheel in the straight ahead position.
7. Apply the parking brake.

8. Place the gear lever in neutral.

9. Install the wheel chocks.

10. Disconnect the cable from the battery's negative

terminal.

11. Remove the switches.

12. Disconnect the connectors.

13. Remove the screw.

14. Remove the panel.

15. Perform this additional procedure for the product(s) specified below
RSH-STO2
▶ Remove the cable ties.

▶ Disconnect the connectors.

▶ Remove the screws.

Note
The sun visor will come free after the
screws are removed.
▶ Remove the sun visor.

▶ Remove the panels.

▶ Remove the screws.

Note
Remove the screws starting from the out-
side and progressing inward. Use two peo-
ple to remove the storage shelf.
▶ Remove the front storage shelf.

▶ Remove the screws.

▶ Remove the bracket.

▶ Remove the screws.

▶ Remove the ECU.

RSH-RAST
▶ Remove the cable ties.

▶ Disconnect the connectors.

▶ Remove the screws.

▶ Remove the bracket.

▶ Remove the ECU.

▶ Remove the screws.

▶ Remove the ECU.

17. Perform this additional procedure for the product(s) specified below
RSH-STO2
▶ Install the ECU.

▶ Install the screws.

▶ Torque tighten the screws.
Tightening torque
FLC20 ECU bracket, screw 0.6 ±0.1 Nm
(5.3 ±0.9 lbf⋅in)

▶ Install the bracket.

▶ Install the screws.

▶ Torque tighten the screws.
Tightening torque
FLC20 ECU bracket, screw 1.5 ±0.5 Nm
(13.3 ±4.4 lbf⋅in)

▶ Install the front storage shelf.

▶ Install the screws.
▶ Tighten the screws to torque.
Tightening torque
Screw M8
24 ±4 Nm
(18 ±3 lbf⋅ft)

Tightening torque
Screw 4.8 ST
3.1 ±0.5 Nm
(27 ±4 lbf⋅in)

▶ Install the panels.

▶ Install the sun visor.

▶ Install the screws.
▶ Tighten the screws to torque.
Tightening torque
Screw M5
5 ±1 Nm
(44.25 ±9 lbf⋅in)

▶ Connect the connectors.

▶ Install cable ties as needed.

▶ Install the ECU.

▶ Install the screws.

▶ Torque tighten the screws.
Tightening torque
FLC20 ECU bracket, screw 0.6 ±0.1 Nm
(5.3 ±0.9 lbf⋅in)

▶ Install the ECU.

▶ Install the bracket.

▶ Install the screws.

▶ Torque tighten the screws.
Tightening torque
FLC20 ECU bracket, screw 1.5 ±0.5 Nm
(13.3 ±4.4 lbf⋅in)

▶ Connect the connectors.

▶ Install cable ties as needed.

19. Install the panel.

20. Install the screw.

21. Torque tighten the screw.

22. Connect the connectors.

nal.
