(3) Aplique sellador de juntas 1U-8846 a las piezas de acoplamiento antes del montaje.

(5) Torque for 16 bolts ... 120 ± 20 N·m (90 ± 15 lb ft)

(6) Rubber toric seals and all surfaces in contact with the seals must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin
layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. The metal seal must be
assembled square with the bore. The rubber toric seals must not bulge. The rubber toric seals must not be
twisted.

(7) Install the lip type seal with the edge toward the inside surface of the pinion housing.

(8) 9C-5048 Sleeve Bearing

Inside diameter ... 158.430 ± 0.010 mm (6.2374 ± 0.0004 inch)

Outside diameter ... 173.95 ± 0.13 mm (6.848 ± 0.005 inch)

(9) Torque for the oil level gauge assembly ... 45 ± 6 N·m (33 ± 4 lb ft)
