1. Competition Eligibility
1.1 All players must be 12 - 17 years old for Junior ML Competition & 18 – 24 years old for
Tertiary ML Competition.
1.2 All participating students must submit proof of enrollment and/or valid student ID in
relevant proving the following:
● Is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in the latest academic semester of
the campus
● Is currently enrolled in the Senior High School
1.3 Students must have a Mobile Legends account in good standing in order to compete. This
same account must be used for the duration of the competition.
1.4 Players may register for only one (1) team per school. Any teams discovered to contain
player/s registered in multiple teams will be immediately disqualified from the Mobile
Legends Bang Bang - Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines)
2. Team Management
2.1 For the National Competitions, all players must be from the same region.
2.2 Teams will be required to have at least five (5) and no more than seven (7) eligible players
on its roster.
2.3 Substitutions. Teams may freely field any five of their sev players from their active
roster for the start of the match. Teams may freely substitute players between games,
however the substitution must be reported to the designated Mobile Legends Bang Bang
Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines) marshal in-charge of the match
2.4 Team Brand. Teams must ensure that the logo and branding used to represent their team
are original works and do not violate any copyright or such. Mobile Legends Bang Bang
Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines) will not be responsible for any legal
action made against the offending team for the aforementioned reason.
2.5 Player Names. The tournament organizers reserve the right to edit nicknames, if they
fail to comply with the tournament rules. Any nicknames/team names/aliases that are
purely commercial (e.g. product names), defamatory, pejorative, offensive, vulgar,
obscene, anti-Semitic, inciting hatred, or offending against good manners are forbidden.
Using alternative spelling, gibberish or wrong spelling in order to avoid the requirements
mentioned above is illegal. The tournament organizers reserve the right to change the
name where necessary
2.6 Roster Lock. Teams are not allowed to adjust their Active Roster during the Mobile
Legends Bang Bang - Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines)
2.7 Region. Only one school campus can represent a region, there will be a total of 17
different regions that will be competing for the national tournament.
2.8 Importation. Winning teams are allowed to change/import their active rosters providing
that the player is currently enrolled and resides in their respective region.
2.9 Participation Fee. A Php5,000.00 participation fee will be collected from schools who
will be representing their region.
3.2 Qualifiers.
There will be two (2) qualifiers for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private
Schools Athletic Association (Philippines). Group A and Group B. There will be Four
(4) teams from the Group A and two (4) teams from the Group B advancing to the
playoffs
● The format of the qualifiers will be a double elimination best-of-3 bracket. The
bracket will play out until the qualifier slots have been filled
3.3 Playoffs
The playoffs will be a single elimination bracket consisting of eight (8) teams.
The quarter finals will be a best-of-5, the semifinals will be a best-of-5 and the grand
finals will be a best-of-7
3.4 Schedule
The schedule for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private Schools Athletic
Association (Philippines) is as follows:

4. Match Process
Matches will be played on the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang live server. As such,
the current live patch will be used for all competitive play
Teams are expected to be complete for their match before the scheduled time. A
“complete” team is defined as all five (5) members joining the game lobby and are ready
to compete. After 15 minutes, if a team is not complete, the game will be awarded to the
team with the most players present in the lobby
Restrictions may be added at any time before or during a match, if there are
known bugs with any items, heroes, or for any other reason as determined at the
discretion of Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private Schools Athletic Association
(Philippines) officials. Restrictions will be announced before a match via the
designated channels.
● Selection Error
In the event of an erroneously selected Hero pick or ban, the team in error must
notify an official before the other team has locked in their next selection. Once this
has been confirmed by a Marshal, they may cancel the Hero Select process. If so, the
hero select process will be restarted with the same selections up until the point where
the error occurred.
In the event of an error in game start or decision by officials, the game may be
started in a controlled manner with the same Lobby Settings. All players will
promptly select the Heroes that they selected in the prior Hero Select.
● Pause Process
Teams or players may pause the game should a player disconnect. Teams will
only be given a maximum of five (5) minutes per team. Teams should inform a
marshal if their pause timer is about to run out with the disconnected player not yet
reconnecting to the game. Should the five (5) minutes elapse, teams will be required
to resume the game and continue.
● Game Restart
In the event of a server crash, players will be required to create a new lobby with
the same draft. Officials will not bear any responsibility from lag or connectivity
issues from the player’s end. Players are advised to check if the network is stable
before the start of the game.
● Mid-Match Break
Teams are entitled to a short break of at least five (5) minutes between games of
a “Best-of” series. Teams are subject to lateness penalties if they are not ready to
begin after the break time ends
● Results of Forfeiture
Matches won by forfeit will be reported by the minimum score it would take for
one team to win the match (e.g. 1-0 for best-of-1 matches, 2-0 for best-of-three
matches, and 3-0 for best-of-five matches). No other statistics will be recorded for
forfeited matches.
● Results Reporting
Upon completion of a game, the winning team must screenshot the final game
scoreboard. Any disputes in score or the game itself should be reported within 10
minutes of the match ending.
● Role of Marshals
Marshals are officials who are responsible for making judgements on every
match-related issue, question and situation which occurs, before, during, and
immediately following match play.
5. Conduct
● Unfair Play
The following actions will be considered as unfair play and will be subject to
penalties at the discretion of Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private Schools Athletic
Association (Philippines) officials.
- Collusion. Collusion is defined as any agreement among two (2) or more players
to disadvantage opposing players. Collusion includes, but is not limited to, acts
such as:
1. Soft play, which is defined as any agreement to not damage, impede or
otherwise play to a reasonable standard of competition in a game.
2. Pre-arranging to split prize money or any form of compensation.
3. Deliberately losing a game for compensation, or for any other reason, or
attempting to induce another player to do so
5.2 Exploiting
Exploiting is defined as intentionally using any in-game bug or any feature not
working as intended, at the sole discretion of Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private Schools
Athletic Association (Philippines) officials, to seek an advantage.
5.3 Ghosting
Any other further act, failure to act, or behavior, which in the sole judgement of
Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines) officials,
violates these Rules and/or the standards of integrity established by A Mobile Legends
Bang Bang Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines) for competitive play
A Team Member may not use language that is obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting,
abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise offensive or objectionable; or
promote or incite hatred or discriminatory conduct. This rule applies to public social
media, live streaming, or player comms during the National Campus Open
A Team Member may not take any action or perform any gesture directed at an
opposing Team Member, fan, or official, or incite any other individual(s) to do the same,
which is insulting, mocking, disruptive or antagonistic.
Should any instance of property destruction occur, Mobile Legends Bang Bang
Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines) will not be responsible for the
replacement / payment for damages and will be the responsibility of the player to do so.
Destruction of property may be subject to further punishment depending on the
circumstance of the situation at the discretion of EAA officials
Any person found to have engaged in or attempted to engage in any act that
Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private Schools Athletic Association (Philippines) officials
believe, in their absolute discretion, constitutes unfair play, will be subject to penalty.
The nature and extent of the penalties imposed due to such acts shall be in the sole and
absolute discretion of Mobile Legends Bang Bang Private Schools Athletic Association
(Philippines).
