    Fifteen Questions to Ask Your Character


    Concept
    ● What emotion best describe your character?
    ● What emotion does your character evoke in others?
    ● What is your goal in life?
    ● How will you accomplish this goal?
    ● What values do you hold?

    Background
    ● How and where did you grow up? Include immediate family.
    ● What are your resources, including material, social, and personal?
    ● Aside from joining the group, what is another recent change in
    your life?
    ● In a single sentence for each, how do you know the other
    characters?

    Details
    ● How do you look and dress?
    ● What are 3 things you enjoy for no other reason beyond personal
    preference?
    ● What are your opinions on at least 3 major aspects of society?
    ● What is your comfort zone?
    ● What are at least three your unexpected quirks?

    Five Questions to Ask Yourself


    ● What role do you fill in the party?
    ● What is you play style?
    ● What major thematic elements should others know about your
    character?
    ● How do want your character to die?
    ● How do you want your character to be remembered?
