6. How to remove and re-install the retarder

DANGER ATTENTION ATTENTION


Retarder may fall down! Hot parts! Improper removal/installation!
Body can be crushed severely. Hands could be burned. Retarder will be damaged.
 Secure the retarder against falling down.  Work carefully. When using a hydraulic piston for lifting:
 Use a suitable lifting device.  Wear safety gloves or use cloth.  Do not press directly onto the heat exchanger
with the hydraulic jack.
 Use a wooden board or similar as protection.
