1. How would you describe me to other people?

Ayush is a ambitious, driven person who is ready to take up any challenge, no matter the
level of difficulty the task entails. At the same time, he is a very fun-loving , jovial person
with whom I share some of the best memories in my life.

2. What is your favourite memory of me?

This was when we were facing the most challenging activity at Maruti Suzuki, the ISG vehicle
recall campaign for Baleno, Ciaz, Ertiga models in Odisha and Chhattisgarh. We had to
address the concerns of 90K+ customers in the 2 states as soon as possible. Time was of
critical essence as there was risk of vehicles catching fire and doing irreputable damage to
the brand image of MSIL.

At that time, due to logistical constraints, we were facing shortage of 30+ ISG spares
at Odisha. Due to quick thinking and management by Ayush, he rallied the dealers and
arranged the extra pieces to be transferred to Odisha. I came over to Raipur, we visited 10+
dealer locations in the city, individually met all the Spare Part Managers and arranged 20
spare ISGs which I took to Odisha and successfully completed the task.

This was all the more difficult because each ISG costs 1lac+ and liaising between so many
CEOs, GMs, WMs, SPMs at so many locations over 2 states when there was clear trust
deficiency was very challenging.

3. What would you come to me for over anyone else?

I would come over to Ayush when I knew that absolutely that my life depended on the task
being completed. I knew, from experience, that Ayush is highly organised and a result
oriented individual. So in any life or death situation, I would come over to Ayush than
anyone else.

4. When you have seen me most happy?

This was when you were handling Mahamaya Autocars in 2021. Mahamaya Autocars was
notorious as a dealer for the last 10 years for not adhering to MSIL SOP and Guidelines.
Multiple TSMs have handled Mahamaya Autocars but couldn’t improve on the poor
customer experience at the dealership. This was when you decided to initiate the penalty on
the dealership after the few employees were caught joy-riding on the customer vehicle at
midnight.

This was of course an unpopular decision internally, as no one likes to penalise one’s own
collaborator in the market. But the times called for a strict hand to send a clear message. So
after you worked on this extra task ( apart from your usual 20+ KPIs) , you made and sent
multiple reports over 3 months. This finally culminated into the penalty of Rs. 2 Lacs on the
Mahamaya Autocars. Post the penalty, the dealership changed its internal policies, removed
the habitual offenders among its employees and appointed a GM to oversee its service
operations. This lead to drastic and immediate improvement in KPIs and overall customer
satisfaction. That day on month end, when you saw this improvement, I saw you the most
happy.
5. What should I be most proud of?

You should be proud of the legacy you have left in AO Office-Raipur, MSIL. There was a time
when there was no ASM to handle the state and the only other colleague was not as
responsive as he should as he was on notice period. You , in your 1 st year of work post
college, displayed exceptional maturity and calm headedness when you were the single
point-of-contact for the entire state of CG for 6+ months. This is generally reserved for ASM,
a person with 10+ years of field experience. Your 360 degree handling of the state starting
from the dealers to ZO to HO to 10K+ customers to MSIL KPIs was just exceptional and
should be a case study in professional ethics.
