The admission score at CUHK is calculated as the average result in the 4 core subjects and the best two elective subjects (or best elective subject and
M1 or M2). A bonus will be awarded to the 7th subject.

In calculating the admission score, some faculties or programmes may assign heavier weighting to specific New Senior Secondary subjects. Please refer
to the following table for details.
