a) What are the components of comprehensive urban mobility plans (CMPs)? Explain
briefly the significance of each of them.
b) Which component is the most important according to you and why?

Question 3:
Prepare a table on comparative analysis (strength and limitations) of any four vehicle detector
sensors. Select the best suitable vehicle detector sensor among them considering the Indian
context and explain the rationality behind this.

Question 4:
Create a scenario of three bus routes within the IIT KGP campus and explain with this scenario
the process of estimating passenger travel demand for each bus route, fleet size, and crew
size and time-table development considering the daily travel behavior of students, staff and
faculties on a typical working day.
