1. A parking lot has motorcycles and cars. How many motorcycles and cars are there in a parking lot with 13
vehicles and 40 tires?
2. If 2 persons handshake only once with everyone else, how many handshakes occur in 6 people?
3. A baseball team won 2 out of their last 4 games. In how many different orders could they have 2 wins and 2 losses
in four games.
4. The product of ages in years of three teenagers is 4590. None of the teens are of the same age. What are the ages
of the teenagers? (assuming the ages of a teenager ranges from 13 to 19)
5. A shirt and a tie together cost P 500. The shirt cost P 300 more than the tie. What is the cost of a shirt?
