LONG BELT CONVEYOR

OPERATION MANUAL
I. Function
Long Belt Conveyor is mainly used for conveying finished urea packing bags,
and also can function as the rail of the Bag-blocking Trolley, due to varied
requirements of the manufacturing techniques.

II. Technical Features and Basic Parameters


1. The maximum conveyance capacity of the urea packing bags per hour is
2100 bags, and a single packing bag weighs 50 kg.
2. The width of the conveyor belt is 650 mm; and its transporting speed is
1.2 m/s.
3. The load of the conveyor is 150 kg/m; and the load of the conveyor frame
is 1000 kg/m.

III. General Description of the Structure


The conveyor is comprised of the head rack, drivers’ rack, middle rack,
frame rack, tail rack, belt and the carrier rollers. The conveyor belt is made of
CC56-650-4(3/1.5) common rubber belt, and its joint is implemented by
vulcanizing or cold conglutination.
Using extra-position electro-motion roller for motion drive.
Recommended models of DTII (A) series are used for all the carrier rollers,
drive rollers and redirecting rollers.
And the tightening of the belt contributes to the rear helix tension unit or
deadweight hammer tension unit.

IV. Installation, Commissioning and Adjusting


1. Installation
All technical requirements and conveyor blueprints should be
meticulously studied before the actual installation.
Check the equipment’s parts for any damage or distortion during the
shipping, and if they are indeed unfit for immediate usage, then repair
and/or replacement is required right away.
Install as following sequence:
Draw a positional center line parallel to the track of the
downstream fixture; secure the rear rack, middle rack and the head rack;
fix the lower carrier rollers and steering rollers; put the belt on the lower
carrier rollers and fix the upper ones, putting the tension units in the most
front and put the belt on the upper carrier rollers as well; recheck the
beeline length and the level degree of the conveyor’s main body and secure
its position; pre-tighten the belt and vulcanizing join the belt’s two ends;
fix the drivers’ rack and tighten the belt.
The rollers, carrier rollers and driving devices should be able to run
neatly; the blocking carrier rollers of the center-adjusting carrier rollers
should be on the rear side of the upper carrier rollers on the direction of
the belt’s movement.
2. Commissioning
2.1 2 hours’ load-less running and 8 hours’ loaded running after the
installation.
Before the commissioning, aside from the routine check of the
installation to see if it meets its technical requirement, you should also
make sure the lubricating oil of the reducer is added to the standard, and
the electric signal and its control devices are connected correctly. Then
active the electrometer to confirm the transportation is in the right
direction.
2.2 The following aspects should be confirmed during the
commissioning:
●No obvious noise from the running parts of the conveyor;
●No abnormal temperature rise of the bearings;
●All rollers and supporting rollers are fastened and running smoothly;
●Center-adjusting carrier rollers are working neatly and agilely;
●The tension extent of the conveyor belt is appropriate;
●All electric equipments and buttons are properly sensitive and reliable
enough.
3. Adjusting
Adjust the slant running of the conveyor belt.
●Normally adjust the head rollers first and in principle no more adjusting
after the initial rectification.
●Adjust the slant running of the rear side belt, then the middle side. If the
slant running does not cease then the joining of the belt should be
checked for its flatness and smoothness. Rejoin the belt if it’s necessary.
●In case of a tilt frame, adjustment is requisite. Widen the rectifying
range of the upper and lower carrier rollers if necessary.
●Change the tightening force of the belt so that no slippery would happen
during any full load startup and running, or occur between the belt and
the driving rollers.
V. Safety and Maintenance
Whether the conveyor can operate normally for a long term depends
directly on correct operation and continued maintenance. Improper
operation tends to lead to equipment or personnel accidents.
Common causes of equipment failure include slant running, ripped belt
and bearings’ wear and tear due to the lack of lube oil.
In events of the above mentioned situations, any factor causing the
slant running should be eliminated at once and lube oil should be added to
the requisite parts immediately.
Parts vitiated by corrosive matters should be rinsed for maintenance in
time.
Alarm warning is due before the startup so that no harm to any
personnel should ever occur.

长胶带输送机使用说明书
一用途

长胶带输送机主要用于输送成品尿素包装袋,因生产工艺的要

求,部分输送机同时承担拦包小车的轨道作用。

二技术特片和主要参数

1 成品尿素包装袋的最大输送量为 2500 包/小时,包装袋单包重量

50kg。

2 输送机的胶带宽度为 650 ㎜

输送速度 1.2m/s

3 输送机载荷 150kg/m

输送机架载荷 1000kg/m

三 结构概述

输送机由头架、驱动架、中间架、支架、尾架、胶带和托辊组若干

部分组成,输送带采用 CC56-650-4(3/1.5)普通型橡胶带,输送带的连

接可采用硫化连接或冷粘连接。

采用外置式电动滚筒作为传动驱动。

所有托辊、传动滚筒、改向滚筒均选用 DTII(A)型系列的推荐型号

胶带的涨紧选用尾部螺旋拉紧装置或自重锤涨紧装置。
四 安装 试送转和调整

1 安装

安装前应熟悉安装技术要求和输送机设计图,检查设备部件在运

输过程中有无损坏、变形。发现问题及时进行修复或更换。

安装顺序为

根据上游设备先定位中心线,然后定位尾架,中间架及头架,安装

下托辊,改向滚筒,将胶带放在下托辊上,安装上托辊,把拉紧装置

放在最前的位置.把胶带放在上托辊上,再次检查输送机主体的直线

度及水平度并紧固定位,预拉紧胶带,输送带硫化连接,安装驱动架,

张紧胶带。

安装时所有滚筒,托辊,驱动装置应转动灵活,安装调心托辊时

应使挡辊位于胶带运动方向上托辊的后方。

2 试运转

1 输送机安装完工后进行 2 小时空载及 8 小时负载运转

试运转前除一般检查输送机的安装是否符合安装技术要求外,

还需检查电动滚筒的润滑油是否按要求加满,电气信号及控制装

置接线是否正确。点动电机观察输送方向是否正确。

2 试运转期间应进行下列工作

 检查输送机各转动部件有无明显躁音。

 检查各轴承应无异常温升。

 检查各滚筒,托辊的转动及紧固情况.

 调心托辊的灵活性及效果
 输送带的松紧程度。

 各电气设备,按钮应灵敏安全可靠。

3 调整

调整输送带的跑偏

一般先调整头部滚筒,调好后原则上不再调整。调整尾部输送带

的跑偏,然后调整中部输送带跑偏。仍不能消除跑偏应检查皮带接头

是否平直,必要时重接。机架倾斜必要时调整,必要时加大上托辊组

和下托辊组的调整范围。

调整输送带的张紧力,使输送机在满载启动及运行中不打滑,输

送带与传动滚筒不打滑。

五安全操作及保养

输送机能否长期正常运转与其能否正确操作和长期维护保养有直

接的关系,不正确操作会造成设备事故和人身事故.

造成设备损坏的主要原因是跑偏,撕裂输送带和缺油磨损轴承。

应及时排除引起皮带跑偏的因素,及时对需加油的部位进行加油.对

因腐蚀性物质污染的部件应及时清洗保养.

起动前应告警、防止造成人身伤害。
