Job profile :
Routines surveillance inspection of field instrumentation, installation witnessing on
testing, calibration, pressure testing of instrument process, air line, loop checking, and
other related electrical instrument work, co-ordination with client for acceptance of
activities leasing with incomplete installation.

NATURE OF WORK
Inspection and responsibilities works for the instrumentation and electrical work for new
control room and inspection of all loop and instrument as a QA/QC Inspector. The applicable
was fully responsible for all QA/QC activities for instrument and electrical work, preparation
of method statements, ITPS handover package were some of the responsibility the project
scope involved installation, testing, calibration and pre-commissioning of field instrument
installation testing and pre-commissioning of DCS, ESD, system relocation, testing,
precommissioning of fire detection system (UV/IR), vibration monitoring, RDS telemetry
system and HF radio system.

Excellence exposure to various system like DCS, PLC, RTU, fire and gas system, ESD,
turbine and compressor system etc. associated with refinery, gas process petrochemical,
offshore production platform, fertilizer plant, oil and gas well heads.

Various calibration installation and testing procedures safety rules and regulation as per
international standards and instrumentation code e.g. API, ANSI, NEMA, ISA, QA/QC,
documentation like inspection and plant, method statements, report forms, completion
dossier, design and materials approval statements etc as per ISO Project and schedule, design
and engineering procurements, construction and commissioning application development,
customer supports services.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibility for :
Calibration of pneumatic electronics transmitter smart transmitter (HONEYWELL,
ROSEMOUNT) like FT, PT, TT, DPT, level troll, types of gauges, controller recorder and
repairing of instrument overhauling of pneumatic instrument, rotating instruments.

INSPECTION FOR :
Installation, modification, testing, loop checking identify troubleshooting, continuity testing,
signal checking, commissioning and pre-commissioning, sequence checking, meggering,
glanding and termination.
Performed inspection covering phases of instrumentation installation of field instruments,
junction boxes, conduit and cable tray, grounding, instrument installation, instrument tubing,
fire and gas detection system and control system, also performed quality control inspection
covering of calibration, loop checking of field instrumentation (LT, PT, PI, FT, FS, TE etc),
MOV, H2S, gas detector etc.
 RESPONSIBILITY Prepare Check and review, also verify the method statement
and Inspection test plan for Instrument work, also submit to client authorized
person to approval the Instrument.
 To ensure all method statements, Inspection & test plan have been updated &
approved and are Progressing as Planned.
 Established field inspection & Testing Procedure for instrument work. Preparing
QCP&ITP and inspection check sheet, also approved drawing for inspection
Procurement and according to project quality plan.
 Trained to Person, who involved in instrumentation job on site, to mention a
good quality work, as a meet with client standards & Project specification.
 Prepared the Procedure for QC list & inspection Documentation, for handling
over the QC dossier, as well as initiate or recommends corrective action (CAR&
NCR) check item during the Process of inspection & report to concerned
authorities for final inspection.
 Review Sub-contractor’s quality plan, material and drawing submittals.
 Familiarity with API, BS, ISA, ISO, NEMA, ANSI Standard and cods.
 Read and refer hazardous area classification of instrument location plan, P & ID
and hook up drawing.
 To make daily, weekly and monthly work report. Follow the QCP (Quality
Control Procedure) & ITP (Inspection Test Plan).
 QMP (Quality Management Procedure) under making NCR (Non-Conformance
Report) at the site/ware house.
 Equipment and material incoming goods inspection & if any damage making
OSD (Over & in Operational and calibrated condition, which will be utilized.
 Also aware of safety rules regulation conducted monthly safety auditing and
reporting Participated monthly safety meeting and familiar with all relevant
safety inductions like in Working on height100% tie off, 100% fall protection,
and confined entry.

INSTRUMENT WORK DETAILS:


 Inspection of All type Instruments Calibration, in Calibration room and field
area.
 Continuity and insulation test Inspection for the Installation of DCS panel, ESD
panel, Machine monitoring system (MMS) panel, field area local panel, CONSOL
and computer with printer in the Field auxiliary room (FAR) and in Main control
building.
 Cable trench Inspection according to rout drawing and Project Specification
before cable pulling, and after cable laying, Also witness trench backfilling for
E&I works
 Installation Inspection for the Control Valve, (PCV, TCV, FCV, LCV) ESD Valve,
Safety relief Valve as a according to project specification & approved drawing.

 Inspection for the installation of field mounted instruments (PT, TT, FT, and LT
& PDT, PG, TG, FG, LG etc.)
 Inspection of the Pneumatic Leak Test for airline tubing/ Impulse Line Tubing,
analyzers sampling tubing, and all kinds of Instrument connection tube line.
 Cable trench inspection before pulling & after back filling the trench, for
Instrument Main cable, and secondary Cable also F/O cable Installation.
 Inspection for instrument Main cable and secondary Cables.
 Also check and monitor for loop check and pre and commissioning and work.

ELECTRICAL WORK DETAILS:


 Inspection for Installation of, Transformer, HV, Switchgear, LV Switchgear,
power distribution panel, Lighting Panel, local panels, switch boards etc.
 Inspection for the Installation of Normal light, Emergency Light Exit light,
Switches, power outlet circuit in the building and field Area.
 Inspection for the witness for Bus Bar, Breaker, MCB,
 Continuity and Insulation ResistanceTest Inspection for electrical cables. Also
Hypo Test (HI-Pot) for Medium and highvoltage cable.
 Also witness the electrical HV/MV/LV Cable and Fiber Optic splicing as per the
Approved drawing specification.
 Inspection for the installation of grounding cable and earth dispatchers in the
field and Building. Also connections to the all equipment as per the approved
drawing.

F&G WORK DETAILS:


 Inspection for Installation of the Fire & Gas system Panel, very early smoke
detection alarm Panel (VESDA) and Local Alarm Panel.
 Inspection for the installation of F&G system in the field and building such as
Manual call point, push button, Siren, Flashing Fire bacon and Gas Beacon and
Fire & Gas Detection System. Also open path gas detector etc.
 Inspection for installation of the flame detector, heat detector Smoke detector,
Gas detector.

MONITIRING WORKS DETAILS:


 Estimate the all material for panel base frame JB frame and tray conduit tubing
support.
 Estimate all material for punch tray, ladder tray, air, Impulse Tubing, Cable
gland, cable marker and termination material which are using in instrument
work.
 Monitoring to the fabrication and installation of support for Electrical &
instrument works monitoring to the Electrical & Instrument Junction box frame
& support installation work.
 Monitoring for the Instrument & Analyzer tubing Installation etc.
 Monitoring of installation of control valves, choke valves, ESD valve and safety
relive Valve.
