General Notes and Reminders


• Textbooks, stationery, art supplies and uniforms can be purchased from online school bookshop at www.pclbookshop.com or from the
school bookshops in Junior Gulshan, Junior Dhanmondi, Mirpur Section and Senior Section Uttara; although parents should feel free to
purchase these items from any other source.
• The school bookshops will be stocked from the Student-Parent Orientation Day of the 2022-23 session.
• The school will provide NCTB Textbooks that are provided by the government free of charge, whenever they are made available to the
school.
• All students are requested to purchase the original version of all textbooks.
• The student’s name, ID number, class and section should be clearly written on all exercise books and textbooks. Parents are advised not to
allow students to bring very expensive or fancy stationery to school.
• Students are advised to bring all books, subject files and supplies each day according to their daily class routine and teacher’s instruction to
avoid carrying any extra weight in school bags.

PAPER REQUIREMENTS

As you know, paper for all kinds of uses, including for completing and taking notes, CW, HW and tests, is supplied by Scholastica for our students.
Therefore you do not need to purchase these items at any time.

• All students will be given a preliminary ream of lined paper to be used for taking notes, completing assignments and all other school work.
They will also be given a diary at the beginning of the school year. This paper is to be kept at home for students to complete homework
assignments.
• During the year, students will be able to get lined paper to do class work and take notes as and when they require them by asking their
teachers.
• Students will be provided with as much paper as they require for all coursework and any work assigned by the school.
• Although writing paper is free and will be provided to students as required by the school, the bookshop will also carry reams of paper should
any parent wish to purchase additional sets for personal use.
