Lupen Heim

Cleric of Luna
Lupen Heim was born in a foreign country far from
Ashlar. His parents were killed by cultist wearing
masks in the middle of the night, he never knew who
they were with. He was able to escape, led by a divine
shaft of moonlight, thereby by evading their pursuit
and made it to his uncles home where he was protected.
Upon investigation the remains of the burned home
were all that were found, no bodies.
His uncle trained him in the art of war, hoping to add
his nephew to his growing garrison, but Luna had other
plans for the young man. The visions of Luna became
more frequent and he eventually succumbed to their
call and turned his life to Luna and joined the Church
as a cleric. One of his first missions he was supposed
to destroy a necromancer who was holding a village
hostage with his undead. Lupen Heim's party faced
undead and the fell magics of the necromancer. While
victorious, they suffered many losses and Lupen Heim
discovered several cultist wearing goat masks (which
he then remembered were the same as the ones that
killed his parents). He made a vow to avenge his
parents and destroy the Cult of Orcus.
Lupen Heim then received a vison from Luna, that he
was to travel to a far land, one where Luna held little
direct sway, and there were no longer many
worshipers. He arrived in the Duchy of Ashlar, and
immediately began to search for the lost Shrines of
Luna, that once restored, would usher in a new age of
worship for his Goddess.
There he joined up with a party of adventurers, and
destroyed much evil, although the locations of the
Shrines eluded him his skills improved as he fought to
further spread the word of his Goddess.

Not being from Ashlar, Lupen Heim has little in the way of history with which to fall back upon. He is
like a dust mote floating upon the silent moonbeams in the dark.

Although his connection with Luna is strong, he is worried that the visions have slowed, or have
become weaker. He must search the lands, there are four shrines to Luna, and he knows that once one
of them is secured and repaired, that her powers here will increase.

One recurring vision that he has had since arriving is “Come to Ashlar. Find the Dark Oracle, fear not
the Black Death. Seek her and she will guide you.” They he sees a vision of the Cold Mountains east
of the capitol of Languard.
