1. Why would you think Starbucks has been so concerned with social responsibility in
its overall corporate strategy?

 Starbucks has prioritized social responsibility in order to first and foremost


minimize any negative effects. CSR efforts aid in minimizing a company's
negative effects. Second, to maintain the organization's reputation. CSR
initiatives serve to strengthen the organization's brand image. Last but not least,
Starbucks corporation employs a variety of resources from the environment in
addition to those from other stakeholders including suppliers, local governments,
and customers. To advance health awareness, education, and way of life, they
engage in CSR activities.

2. Is Starbucks being able to provide a high level of benefits to its employees?

 Yes, Starbucks is distinctive, and this is because few restaurants give their
employees the kind of perk that Starbucks does. According to Howard Schultz, a
business should suffer some short-term setbacks as opposed to permanently
losing sight of its guiding principles. Offering perks like paid time off, health
insurance, and other advantages can keep workers happy, which increases
productivity and benefits businesses. Additionally, this organization lowers
employee turnover, saving the business money on recruiting and training new
employees.

3. Do you think that Starbucks has grown rapidly because of its ethical and socially
responsible activities or because it provides products and an environment that
customers want?

 The key selling point of the Starbucks corporation is that it offers goods and
services in a setting that clients adore. Due to its ongoing capacity to adapt its
product and service offerings in response to changing consumer demands, it
keeps growing. Without its strong ethical nature and socially responsible
activities, this kind of growth would not have been conceivable. Consequently, in
order for a business to succeed, it is crucial to give both being moral and
satisfying customers equal weight.
