Personal Development

1.Go on a trip all by yourself.

1.Only once I traveled alone, it was to Melgar,

and it was in January of this year.
There I met my friends but from
my house to that city it was a four-hour trip,
where I had to take two cabs and a bus.
It was a good experience,
I liked it and I would do it again.

2. Have a mental breakdown.

2. I've never had a mental breakdown; I've had sad days or frustrations but not to that point of
reaching a crisis. I have not had to go to a psychologist, nor have I had to be in a hospital. I hope I
don't have to go through that.

3. Read a book

3. Just last week I finished reading a book called The Psychoanalyst and the author is John Katzenbach.
The book is a psychological thriller. It tells the story of a psychoanalyst who has a normal life and on a
casual day he received a death sentence where he had to investigate who was the man, who had sent
him that letter.

4. Find a mindfulness technique that works for you:

meditation, journaling, yoga, etc.
4. Some attention technique that might work for me would be silence and being alone. I find that it is
easy for me to pay attention that way,
whether it's reading a book, doing homework,
or staying focused in a class.

5. Set a crazy goal and achieve it.

5. I think that a crazy goal that I'm going to accomplish right now is to go to an electronic music festival
in October, it's not something I expected to do but if it wasn't at this moment, I was not going to have
the opportunity to do it again. Also taking into account that it is the most important festival worldwide
and it is the second time it will be done in Colombia so that's why I'm excited about the idea of being
done.

6.Learn a new language.

6. Of course I would like to learn another language, that's the idea. Mainly English, I consider that I'm
not the best but it's not that difficult for me either. In the vocabulary I consider myself good but the
grammar is something that complicates me a lot, I must be more constant to be able to learn the
language well, exercise it and put it into practice to be able to speak it fluently.

7.Develop your own morning routine.

7. My own routine is very monotonous, because I usually get up at 10 a.m., have breakfast, take a
shower, organize my room and go to work, get home from work at 10 p.m. to eat, every once in a
while, I watch a series before going to sleep. On the weekends I try to do different things like get
ahead on homework, go out to play soccer, visit my girlfriend, drink beer with my friends and watch
TV. You could say that's the routine I manage.

8.Learn to play an instrument or sing.

8. Learning to play an instrument was once in my plans, I have a guitar and I know a few chords. I
know how to play the happy birthday song. What happens is that one must have a lot of
constancy to be able to play an instrument and that is what I lack. Singing doesn't appeal to me,
besides my voice is too ugly to sing.
