PART 2 - PRODUCTS

2.01 MANUFACTURERS

A. Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products by the following:

1. ABB Power Distribution - Italy/Europe
2. Mitsubishi - Japan
3. Moeller - Germany/Austria
4. Legrand - France/Italy
5. Merlin Gerin - France
6. Siemens - Germany

B. Approved Switchboard/Panel Manufacturers:

1. EBOMAC
2. Salem Al Nisf
3. Al Ahleia Switchgear
4. Al Diwan Switchgear
5. Dakeel Al Jaseer
6. General Control Group
C. The products and manufacturers specified herein, are specified for the purpose of
establishing minimum quality standards. Products equal in quality to, or better than
those specified, will be acceptable. The decision of acceptability rests with the
Engineer.
2.02 GENERAL
A. Provide complete distribution equipment which shall comprise main low tension
switch boards, main and sub main switch boards, distribution boards, isolators, switch
fuses, etc.
B. The supply and distribution arrangement shall be as indicated on the schematic
diagrams Drawings.
C. Provide all required signals for monitoring through BAS system according to
specification Section 15976.

2.03 MAIN LOW TENSION SWITCH BOARDS

A. General
1. The main low tension switch boards shall be of Form 3b indoor construction
cellular type, dead front, metal enclosed multi-cubicle type, free standing, dust
and vermin protected, front operated and of clean and modern appearance.
2. The switch boards shall be assembled and coordinated by one manufacturer and
shall be constructed in accordance with IEC 60439-1. Complying Form 3b
construction.
