• Explain the 3 main processes of a computer system?
The 3 main processes are:
Input – is data that is entered into or received by a computer.
Process – is a set of instructions currently being processed by
the computer processor.
Output – this stage of computing is concerned with producing
the processed data as information in a form that is useful to the
user.
• What is a computer system made up of?
A computer system is made up of hardware and software.
Hardware is the physical components of the computer and
software is the instructions that makes the computer work.
• Name 3 input devices you can think of?
1. Keyboard

• What are storage devices?
Storage devices refers to the hardware devices which can be
used to store digital data and applications which may be in
the form of images, video, audio, etc.
• Explain what are Operating System Software and give two
examples of operating systems?
A operating system software is a programme required to
manage and operate a computing device like smartphones,
tablets, computers, supercomputers, etc.
Two examples of operating systems are: Microsoft Windows
and Mac OS (Operating System).
• Explain what are Application Software’s and list 5 examples
of application software’s?
Application software’s refers to the computer software
packages that performs a specific function directly for an end-
user or, in some cases, for another application.
Here are 5 examples of application software’s: VLC media
player, Google Chrome, YouTube, Microsoft Word and Firefox.
