will get 253 pencils. How many pencils will the school have to give out?

(c) Kwasi owes Junior 11 cedis. Kwasi borrows another 5 cedis from
Junior. How much does Kwasi owe Junior now? (Use the number line
to find how much Kwasi owe Junior now).
(d) Draw a precise number line to solve the following.
(i) −6±3=¿
(ii) −3−3=¿
(iii) −3 × 4=¿
2. (a) Sir Akyea picked 113, 456 apples and Sir Emma picked 134, 874
apples from the apple tree. How many apples were picked in total?
(b) Find the quotient and remainder(R) of the following
(i) 683 ÷ 54
(ii) 364 ÷ 14
(iv) 847 ÷ 21
(v) 192 ÷3
(c) Use any favorable method to find the HCF and LCM of 12, 20, 30.
3. (a) Use the lattice method to solve the following

(b) A vertical pole in a river is 68 feet. If the height of the pole in the
river is 27 feet, find the height of the pole above the water level.
