Lifestyle transition tips

Start moving toward mostly fruit by replacing breakfast with fruit for a couple of weeks, then add fruit
as snacks and eventually replace lunch with fruit. By that point, you will be 60-70% fruit and raw.
Eventually go all day or have salads for dinner if the fruit is too much in the evening. The goal for healing
is 100% raw. No cooked foods, other than lightly steamed vegetables.

Important:
 Don’t blend fruit until you understand which ones can be combined and those that should never
be eaten together (resources below). Eat as much of any one fruit per meal until full. Move
away from dairy and meat as soon as you can (not optional).
 Try to limit high fat meals when transitioning to high fruit. Contrary to popular belief, Diabetes
(Type 2) is not a sugar problem, it’s a fat in the blood supply problem. The sugar problem is
simply a side effect. Having too much fat in the blood impedes the cell’s ability to consume
sugar. The receptors get clogged so to speak, leaving unused sugar in the blood.

Organic and non-organic foods

There are certain fruit and vegetables that are impossible to clean in terms of removing harmful
pesticides and herbicides. However, there are some that don’t necessarily need to be organic. The lists
below will provide you with a list of those that you can buy non-organic and those that you should only
buy organic.

Dirty dozen: buy these organic whenever possible. The pesticides are off the charts on these foods or
they are not easily cleaned.
