Work Life Balance is an important issue for an employee and as well as for organization.The
literature suggests generally two types of factors affect the work life balance of employees such as individual
factors and organisational factors. Individual factors include emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and
job engagement and organizational factors include organizational support and work overload and advanced
technology.Technology is one of the factors which affect the work life balance of employees. On one side
technology has benefits like 24/7 accessibility and easy connectivity and flexibility. These benefits help
employees to maintain work life balance. This research paper focuses on the impact of technology on the
work-life balance of employees working in banking industry. Technology has many benefits but whether
technology helps employees to maintain WLB or not.Exploratory research design has been used for this study.
Primary data has been conducted through questionnaire by taking a sample size of 100 by convenience
sampling method. Findings reveal that there is a moderate relationship between technology and work life
balance. Technology does not help employees to manage their work and life.
