GUIDELINES
Students wishing to apply for EDiSU benefits have to fill in the online application form. In order
to fill in the application form you have to:
1. Login to online students services “Accesso ai servizi online” on the webpage
https://edisupv-ol.dirittoallostudio.it/istud/
2. upload the required documents in the section “Documentazione Estera”
3. click on “Domanda Benefici Studenti" and fill in the form
If you have not enrolled to University yet fill in the form as you had already enrolled.
If you have problems with your University login credentials, you can register clicking on “Accreditamento”.

If you already have your EDiSU login credentials (from last year application for our benefits) you must use

After registration you can login to online students services (on the webpage https://edisupv-
ol.dirittoallostudio.it/istud/) and upload the required documents selecting “Documentazione Estera”.
Foreign students with family living outside Italy and Italian students living abroad must prove that they
meet the financial requirements, by means of documents to be attached (uploaded) to this application
form and submitted in original to EDiSU (EDiSU Office: via Calatafimi 11, PAVIA) within the deadline
indicated in the selection announcement (deadline for accommodation: 4th August 2017; deadline for
scholarship: 30th September 2017).
These documents must show:
the family composition;
gross income earned in the calendar year 2016 by each family member;
properties (buildings) owned by the family as at 31 December 2016, specifying their surface area in
square meters;
movable assets (i.e. bank account, dividends, shares, etc.) owned by the family abroad as at 31
December 2016.
The above-mentioned documents, issued by the competent authorities of the country from which the
income derives and the assets are owned, must be accompanied by a translation into Italian conforming to
the foreign text and certified by the competent Italian diplomatic or consular authorities.
For country that had subscribed the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 it is sufficient to obtain the
Apostille stamp on the translation.
For those countries where it is particularly difficult to obtain a certificate issued by the local Italian
Embassy, the documents may be issued by the diplomatic or consular representative in Italy of the country
where the income was generated and the assets are owned, drafted in Italian language and legalised by the
Prefectures (Prefetture) pursuant to article 33, paragraph 4 of Presidential Decree no. 445 of 28 December
2000. The consular documents must explicitly refer to the documents coming from the country of origin.
No form of self-certification (affidavit, sworn declaration, etc.) may therefore be accepted.
Foreign students who live with their families in Italy, without income and/or assets abroad, are considered
equivalent to Italian students for all purposes, and therefore also for the purposes of determining their
financial status. They must therefore obtain the ISEE Certificate by submitting the Dichiarazione Sostitutiva
Unica to a tax assistance office (CAF).
Important:
The above documentation, translated and approved by an official Italian authority, must be submitted to
EDiSU as electronic document along with the application form according to the procedures specified on
EDiSU website.
Students will have to take the same documentation in original or send it by post in order to obtain the right
to enjoy the benefit. The student is fully responsible for the delivery of the documentation in original to
EDiSU offices. In case the student does not submit the complete original papers he/she will be excluded
from the benefits.

It is advisable to write a short description for every file that you upload (eg. “front side”, “back side”, …)
in the box “Descrizione File”.
Every file must be in PDF, JPEG, PNG o GIF type and must not exceed 2 MBytes. The file name must be
in Latin characters without special characters (eg. Ã, ä, å, ç, etc…). Once uploaded the files cannot be
removed.
Once you have uploaded all the documents select “Chiudi” and go to “Domanda
Benefici Studenti” in order to fill in the application form.

Students enrolled at Phd or “scuola di specializzazione” MUST fill in the field with the year of first
enrollment at Phd or “scuola di specializzazione”.

Fill in the field with the year of very first enrollment at the level of course you are attending (BA degree

Students MUST fill in the field with the year of VERY FIRST enrollment. Very first enrolment is understood
to mean any previous enrolment in any degree programme (even if different from the one attended in
the academic year 2017/2018) in any University, the admission to which requested the same qualification
requested for the admission to the degree programme attended in the academic year 2017/2018,
regardless of its outcome (withdrawal from the programme, transfer, graduation, etc.) and regardless of
the number of years since the enrolment.

NOTA (for every level of study): If you have made “rinuncia” at enrollment at a previous course of same
level you MUST fill in the field with the 1st year of enrollment at a degree course of the same level.
Eg. In 2017/2018 you are enrolled at the 1st year of MA degree in Economics but in 2016/2017 you
enrolled at the 1st year of MA degree in Political science. You MUST fill in the field the 1st year of
enrollment at MA degree in Political science because it is a course of the same level that the MA degree in
Economics.

The credits valid for scholarship are those achieved through exams specifically indicated in the last
study plan approved.
Only final exams will be considered for the academic requirements, with reference to the approved
study plan, completed with achievement of CFU and mark; in the case of areas/integrated courses
consisting of multiple modules, any part of exam or any mark not officially registered on the on line
transcripts will not be considered.

The total number of the bonus credits differs based on the year of enrolment in which it is used.
Specifically, the bonus totals are:
- 5 credits to obtain the advantages for the second year;
- 12 credits to obtain the advantages for the third year;
- 15 credits to obtain the advantages for additional academic years.
The bonus can only be activated once and used as long as credits last in subsequent years.

Condizione economica
The maximum amounts with regard to financial situation (ISEE/ISPE) for the academic year
2017/2018 are:
- an Equivalent Financial Situation Indicator not higher than € 23,000.00
- an Equivalent Property Situation Indicator (ISPE) not higher than € 50,000.00 (officially
calculated and corresponding to the ISP (Capital Status Indicator)/ Valore della scala di
equivalenza (Scale of equivalence))
NOTA BENE. In order to take adequately into consideration the individuals who bear the costs of
maintaining a student, the household of the applicant is integrated with that of his/her parents when
one or both the following requirements are not met:
residence, recorded in the General Register Office, outside of the residential unit of the family
of origin, established at least two years prior to the date of application and in a property not
owned by a member of the original family household;
declared personal income dating back at least two years, from employment or similar, not
employed by a family member, of at least € 6,500.00 per annum.
In the event of failure to meet either of the conditions above, the property and financial situation of
the family of origin will be taken into consideration.

In order to be able to fill in the next page of this form you need to have all the necessary documents
showing:
the family composition;
