What is the Author's Perspective?
The author's perspective, or viewpoint, is how the author
feels about the subject. In order to determine the author's
perspective, you need to figure out what opinion or
attitude the author has about the subject.

be used to contradict. It can also damage the
credinility of the speaker

A flashback is a literary deviced used to give
more information about something that
happend in the past. It can be shown by
scenes in the past or in portraits .

For example, if there is a scene where
there is a lot of action and then there is
a fight, the public will want to see what
is going to happen.

An inference is a literary device that occurs when you predict what is
going to happend.
example: For example, if I made a hypothesis as if I were going to hit

claim: in literature is a statement in which a writer


presents an assertion as truthful to substantiate an
argument.

evidence: a type of literary device that appears in


different categories of essays and theses.
