Activity 2 Do it yourself – D.I.Y.

LET’S CREATE!
Let’s help endangered animals!

Teenagers do different activities in their free time. You have decided to be a volunteer in a wild animal
rescue centre. One of your duties in the centre is to create the animals’ fact sheets, in order to describe
their characteristics and abilities, so that, visitors from all parts of Peru and the world can know more
about them.

To write the animals’ fact sheets, follow the steps:

Step 1: Choose two endangered animals that live in your regions and decide a name for the wildlife
rescue centre where you volunteer.

Step 2: Make a list of their abilities and characteristics.

Step 3: Think of a quote about protecting our wildlife. Look at the following examples:
• Wild animals are not pets.
• Animals shouldn’t live in cages.
• Monkeys should live free!
