SUBJECT Guidelines in the Conduct of Qualifying Examination for
PNP Uniformed Personnel due for Mandatory Career
Course

Procedures for PNP Personnel in Taking Mandatory Career Course and
Other Related Matters",
e. After Activity Report on February 3, 2022 re Proposed Online Qualifying
Examination for PNP Uniformed Personne! due for Mandatory Career
Courses; and
AAR of Joint PNP-PPSC TWG on January 13, 2022 and January 21,
2022
2. As per above references, qualifying examinations will be administered for
PNP uniformed personnel due for mandatory career course based on the Training
Lineal List that was derived from RMD-DPRM records; and that was verified and
validated by all offices and units. The level of difficulty of the examination depends
on the specific Mandatory Career Course that each personnel will take. The following
are the scope of examinations:
a. General Knowledge;
b. Personnel Policies and other Human Resource Actions;
c. Intelligence and Investigation;
d. Revised Police Operational Procedures; and
e. CMC NLE 2022
3. During the conduct of examination, the following guidelines must be strictly
observed by the examinees:
a. The candidate must be included in the list sent from this Directorate;
b. The examinee must have two gadgets set-up during the exams for Zoom
platform to be viewed by the designated proctor;
cc. Must be in proper uniform;

Unit_Rank_Name (LN, FN, Ml);
e. RLDDDIRE representative must be onboard as proctor and supervise
their respective regional personnel and report any irregularity in the
conduct of the examination;
{. Canvass Apps will be used for the examination (please see attached
procedures on how to create a Canvass account).
4. Further, be informed that pursuant to Section 29 entitled Attrition by Other
Means of R.A. 8551, any PNP member may be attrited on the following grounds
a) Inefficiency based on poor performance during the last two (2)
successive annual rating periods;
b) Inefficiency based on poor performance for three (3) cumulative
annual rating periods;
¢) Physical and/or mental incapacity to perform police functions and
duties; or
4) Failure to pass the required entrance examinations twice and/or finish
the required career courses except for justifiable reasons.
5. Eligible personnel or those who passed the examination will be
immediately notified to submit their admission requirements to this Directorate
These will be collated prior to bulk transmittal to NPC, PSC. Those who will fail, on
the other hand, will be presented before the screening and deliberation committee,
for interview and subsequent remedial exam. Those who will pass the remedial exam
will be included in the opening of Mandatory Career Courses; while those who will
fail again will be subjected for attrition
6. In this regard, advise your respective RLDDIR8 or Training Officer to
strictly implement the said guidelines. Your DRDA/DDA shall supervise.
