I
t’s easy to fall into the trap of infinite scrolling, you won’t
even notice when you become addicted to it.
Let’s not deny the fact that, if you are disciplined, nothing can
distract you. It’s just, you have to learn things and operate
accordingly.

In the last 2 and a half years, I have friends who were also
students at some point and they are currently at another level,
just because they choose to used Twitter for growth and career.
Let’s discover what are the ways in which you can use Twitter
to make money and achieve your goals.

t’s a way to start the conversation and attract people. Start
with sharing your learnings, it can be anything that you
learnt or love to talk about.
Just share about it, either in the form of single tweets, threads,
listicles, or visual graphics.
You just have to do it. You see, most people cannot take this first
step. You can be different from them just by putting these words

You have to learn how to use it and that can be done by being
polite, humble and sharing what exactly you are looking for
from the next person.

Well, it’s a great thing to do but the majority of the time
you will get attracted to unproductive rabbit holes
If the rabbit hole is for your growth and helping you learn
something or deep study then it’s completely fine.

decent idea of how you should use Twitter. Now comes
the very important part, which is what to mention on
your bio and your profile picture.
For bio:
Try to add things you love learning and are interested in and
what you usually tweet about on Twitter. It will give out a clear
idea of what value you can provide to the other person coming
to your profile.

For Profile Picture you can use a decent picture of yours, doesn’t
have to be super professional like you use on Linkedin. The same
goes for the header. You can create a decent header from Canva,
Figma and other image editors.

the first 10 seconds are going to be very important, that’s when
the visitors will make an impression on you. Here’s how they

Knowing empathy is very important because it allows us
to understand how others are feeling so that we can respond
appropriately. You will come across tweets, where you have to
respond sensibly.
5. Persuasion
Persuasion is the art of convincing others to agree with
you or carry out your actions. Many people are aware of
it, but not everyone is able to fully utilise it. Persuasion is
essential in everyday business because it increases sales and
most importantly it builds trust.
6. Kindness
Kindness is the most valuable thing in the world. All the
cultures and religions throughout the world and history respect
this key traits and it is also probably the only thing which will
be respected in the future as well. A little act of kindness goes a
long way.

you will observe this throughout on Twitter. You have to judge
the situation and react accordingly.

Your time on Twitter will be based on several micro decision.
When you are growing on Twitter, you are always choosing and
deciding which account to engage with. This certainty develops
your decision making abliity by improving your cognitive biases.
