ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR THE APPLICANT:

Within 24 hours of receipt of your approved authority letter, access to the department's Employee
Information Kiosk (EIK) will be available to you. The EIK allows you to directly access and update your
vaccination status, pay and other relevant information about you and your employment. Information on
how to track your relief claims can be located on the Department for Education website at
www.education.sa.gov.au
24 hours after your authority letter has been received, please go to www.eduportal.sa.edu.au, log into EIK
and click on the pink button (Enter COVID Vaccination Details) to enter your details. You may need to set
or reset your password and/or security questions to login to EIK. For assistance with this, phone the ICT
Service Desk on 8204 1866 (metro) or 1300 363 227 (regional) Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm.
Your department email address will remain active while you are authorised for employment with the
department and for two weeks after you cease employment or into the new school year

It is the APPLICANT'S RESPONSIBILITY to keep all the information on their application for employment
totally accurate and current at ALL TIMES.
If any mandatory requirements expire, the approval to work is withdrawn.
Provide a copy of the first page of this letter to every site in which you are seeking employment,
along with a copy of your teacher registration and your RRHAN-EC Certificate

The Employee Information Kiosk (EIK), that allows staff to access pay and other relevant information
about themselves and their employment, is available once employment has commenced. Information on
how to track your relief claims can be located on the Department for Education web site at
www.education.sa.gov.au
If you are successful in gaining employment in a department site you will be provided automatically with an
Education email address which will remain active while you have a job with the Department for Education
and for two weeks after you cease employment or into the new school year. Access to your LearnLink
email and EIK portals can be provided by your school or preschool once you have commenced
employment.
Payslips will be sent electronically through your Learnlink email or be available through the EIK.
All Education employees are expected to adhere to the Code of Ethics for the South Australian Public
Sector. You are required to familiarise yourself with this document before accepting any employment with
the Department for Education.

What you need to know

Please be aware that with the move of year 7 to high school in 2022, current primary school subjects
Primary(PR07) and The Arts (ZD07) will no longer be available from 1 January 2022.

What you need to do

You wont need to do anything. Where your authority to teach currently includes the identified subjects, on 1
January 2022 we will convert them to Primary (PR06) and The Arts (ZD06) for you.
