Features for a small footprint and short cable runs.
The servomotor controlled dobby presents a completely new
concept compared with conventional dobbies, one that pro-

The drive electronics is fitted directly onto the motor housing

All shed parameters (shed opening, movement profile, shed Permanent display of the Display and programming of

closing) are individually set electronically at the control con-
sole, both for each heald frame and for each pick.

The optimized movement sequences serve to maximize

speeds and supply an extremely smooth flow of power to the
heald frames, reducing stress on frames and healds and on
the warp.

The position of the shed crossing of the warp threads can be

defined for each heald frame to suit the specifications of the
fabric to be manufactured. The servo motor and the electron-
ics are both fluid cooled, which increases the power density
and minimizes maintenance. This entirely eliminates the need
to clean fans etc.

The compact design of the drive motors means they require little The height-staggered harness motion provides for up to 56 heald
space frames at a 10 mm pitch
