Title: Do you have a title that communicates what
your graph is about?

Intervals: Are your bars evenly spaced, the same


width and did you use as much of horizontal
space as possible?

Color: Did you color your bars nicely and anything


else that could be colored?

Axis: Did you make nice, neat axis’ using a ruler on


all parts?

Labels: Did you label the axis’ with the information


from the data table and the value for each bar?

Scale: Did you evenly space your vertical values


and use as much of the vertical space as
possible?

Thank you for downloading these free task cards. My student have a hard time
getting all the information they need in graphs, so I made these to help them
practice. T.I.C.A.L.S. is the acronym I use to teacher them all the parts of a graph they
need to remember to include to communicate their information the most effectively.
There is no key, but I included a graph using T.I.C.A.L.S. below.
