1. Different parts of a microscope
2. Effect of Surface Area: Volume ratio on the efficiency of diffusion in agar blocks

4. Calculation of magnification of drawing, actual size of structures from drawings or micrographs
5. Calculation of mitotic index
6. Calculation of BMI
7. Immobilised enzyme lactase to create lactose free milk
8. Study of effect of temperature / pH / substrate concentration on enzyme action
9. Separation of chlorophyll pigments by paper chromatography and calculation of Rf (retention
factor) values of different pigments
10. Study of a closed ecosystem by setting-up a mesocosm
