1.2. SUBMITTALS

A. Submit the following at least thirty (30) days before the date of order placement:
1. Original Officially Printed Product Data Sheets: The data published in the data sheet
shall be based on test properties from a competent Geosynthetic Testing Laboratory
accredited by any recognized Accreditation of Certification Bodies which are also
APAC-MRA and ILAC-MRA signatories in the scope of geosynthetic testing in
accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. Technical values shall meet Confidence Level of
95%. No photocopy technical data shall be accepted.
2. Clearly identified product samples.
3. Quality Statement: The contractor shall provide to the Engineer a certificate each for
the proposed geosynthetic products. The certifications shall state that the furnished
geosynthetic products meet 95% Confidence Level requirements of the specification
as evaluated under the Manufacturer's quality control program and include the
following information;
a. Name and address of the manufacturer,
b. Project title,
c. Client name,
d. Product name and product properties certifying that materials to be delivered to
site meet or exceed the specified requirements.
4. Submission must also include appropriate product literature, test certificates (ISO
Certificate and any recognized Accreditation of Certification Bodies which are also
APAC-MRA and ILAC-MRA signatories in the scope of geosynthetic testing), and
other documentation supporting the technical evaluation of the products. The
contractor shall include such documentation together with the tender documents.
 B. Prior to delivery of materials to site, the contractor must submit Test Certificate for each
of the proposed Geosynthetics products. The certifications shall state that the furnished
geosynthetic products meet 95% Confidence Level requirements of the specification as
evaluated under the Manufacturer's quality control program and include the following
information;
a. Name and address of the manufacturer,
b. Project title,
c. Client name,
d. Product name, lot number and product test result certifying that materials to be
delivered to site meet or exceed the specified requirements

1.3. MATERIALS

A. High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat shall be a dimensional lofty synthetic erosion
control mats woven from a high strength, non-degradable, heavily UV-stabilised
polypropylene yarns that creates a random 3-dimensional pattern that produces “inner
pockets,” which entrap and entangle the grass root system that provides bare soil
retention, vegetation nurturing and high performance turf reinforcement.

B. High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat shall not comprise layers, composites, or
discontinuous materials, or otherwise loosely held together by stitched or glued netting.

C. High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat manufacturer shall have quality management
systems which comply with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015. Certificate of compliance
must be provided to substantiate this requirement.

D. High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat delivered to the site shall meet or exceed the
technical values of the following properties. The manufacturer shall provide a Quality
Statement from an ISO Accredited Test Laboratory that the turf mat delivered to site meet
or exceed the following requirements in full. Turf mat not meeting the required technical
values shall be rejected.

E. High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat shall have the resiliency of 70%, tested as per
ASTM D6524.

F. High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat shall have the light penetration of less than or
equal to 40%, tested as per ASTM D6567.
